Every detail is taken care of for you. The staff, both in Media and at your destination, is top-notch and are to be commended for all their support. The Dream Book and travel suggestions and supplements are wonderful so you can really plan your trip. You can do as much as you like or as little. But the options to "Live like a Local" are there for you, just as Hal Taussig imagined it would be.

Eleanor and I have been trying to practice German words and phrases for our trip to Switzerland.  This morning I said "Here's a phrase you should remember "Sehr erfreut" which means "Pleased to meet you."  Eleanor said "I'm not going to remember that."   I said "I'll probably say it first.  So you just repeat what I say."  Eleanor: "I'm not going to remember the pronunciation."  Bill says to Eleanor: "Okay, just say DITTO!"  Eleanor says to Bill "What's the German word for "Ditto."  I don't…
