We did Vienna as a week add on after a stay in the Heartland of Switzerland. Our apartment was in the heart of the old city and thus all of the main attractions were within easy walking or streetcar distance. It is a magical city of food, art, music, and architecture.

Would like to know if anyone has stayed at the Amalia apartment in Vienna? If so, can you suggest closeby markets, cafes, shopping and churches? We are looking forward to our 2 weeks and have already made some online concert reservations.
