Thanks to the efforts of Untours founder, Hal Taussig, our home town of Media, Pennsylvania became the first Fair Trade town in the U.S. This video features town leaders (including Hal) talking about why Media took this step.

I really enjoyed this video. Eleanor and I visited Media, Pennsylvania a year ago, and got a taste of the Fair Trade idea in Media itself as well as at the offices of Untours. It is refreshing to see such a valuable movement take root in our society. Our politicians promise everything and do nothing for the hard working people of this country. Hal Taussig and Media, Pa. are taking the bull by the horns and actually accomplishing something worthwhile. Media, Pennsylvania is a wonderful town straight out of the 1950's. They even have a trolley that takes you all the way into Philadelphia. We liked the town so much that we have even entertained thoughts of moving there.
