These were the sights and sounds that greeted us as we entered the Lake Yellowstone Hotel, prior to having a special dinner to celebrate our 42nd Anniversary. We could not afford this place for dinner on our honeymoon in 1970 at Yellowstone. Back then Eleanor prepared our dinner on a Coleman stove in the bathroom of our room at Canyon Village....hot dogs and beans. That was the first meal she cooked for us as newlyweds.
