Day One In Andalucia

We arrived in Malaga on time and ready to explore, and were met at the gate by our driver, who turned out to be Alexandra, Maria's assistant.  She helped us to handle all the details of car rental and then carefully drove us almost two hours to our chosen Untours rental, Posada Real in Priego de Cordoba.  We decided on the village location because we wanted to be close to shops and restaurants, and we were entirely satisfied with our decision.  Priego is a lovely town, and once we arrived and met Juan and Maria we were even welcomed more.  Alexandra told us we were the only Untourists arriving that week, so we agreed to meet up with just her the following day and get a briefing about where to go and what to do.  Then next week we will go to the orientation meeting with the other Untourists when they arrive.

After refreshing our weary selves, we decided to take a walk around and explore the village.  Here are some of our first photos:

and the park with beautiful fountains...finally we decided it would be good to call an early night and go to bed.  We had a full schedule on Thursday, what with meeting Alexandra and we had planned a drive to Baena and some local villages.
